Adult ADHD in the North Bay

Specialized adult ADHD care can require more travel in the North Bay than it does in San Francisco or the Peninsula. Telehealth changes the logistics. It does not change the need for a careful evaluation.

Convenience is useful. Diagnostic quality still matters more.

Late diagnosis deserves a real history

Some adults reach midlife without ever being evaluated because they were bright, quiet, highly structured, or able to compensate. Others were told they were anxious, disorganized, perfectionistic, or simply bad at routine tasks. A later diagnosis can be appropriate when the history supports a longstanding pattern—but it should not be assumed.

Sleep problems, mood symptoms, anxiety, substance use, chronic stress, and medical conditions can all affect attention. The evaluation has to separate those possibilities as clearly as it can.

North Bay access

Telehealth care is available across Marin, Sonoma, Napa, and Solano counties, including San Rafael, Mill Valley, Novato, Larkspur, Corte Madera, Sausalito, Tiburon, Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Sebastopol, Sonoma, Healdsburg, Napa, St. Helena, Calistoga, American Canyon, Vallejo, Benicia, Fairfield, Vacaville, Suisun City, Dixon, and surrounding communities.

The practice does not present those cities as physical office locations. They are telehealth service areas.
